Würzburg, Germany
Falkenhaus, on Würzburg’s lively market square, is best known for its striking Rococo façade, one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. Originally a patrician house, it now houses the Tourist Information office and a public library. Visitors come mainly to admire the ornate exterior and its place in the historic city center, close to the Marienkapelle and other old-town sights. It is a worthwhile stop for those interested in architecture, local history, or a short look at one of Würzburg’s most elegant secular buildings.
