Valletta, Malta
Triton Fountain is one of Valletta’s best-known landmarks, standing just outside the City Gate at the capital’s entrance. Completed in 1959, it features three bronze Tritons supporting a wide basin, combining modern design with mythological symbolism. Recently restored, the fountain is especially striking when illuminated in the evening. While not a major attraction on its own, it is a worthwhile stop for its architecture, historical role, and convenient location at the start of a walk through Valletta’s UNESCO-listed streets.
