Valletta, Malta
Lower Barrakka Gardens is a small, peaceful public garden on Valletta’s bastion walls, overlooking the Grand Harbour. Its main draw is the open view across the water to the Three Cities, making it a pleasant stop for photos and a quiet break from the city streets. The garden also contains memorials, including the neoclassical Sir Alexander Ball Monument, which adds historical interest. If you want a less crowded viewpoint than the Upper Barrakka Gardens, this is a worthwhile detour.
