Hastings Gardens

Hastings Gardens is a small public garden on Valletta’s western bastions, valued mainly for its sweeping harbour and skyline views. Laid out in the 19th century, it offers a quiet break from the city’s streets, with shaded paths, memorials, and benches overlooking Floriana, Marsamxett Harbour, and distant fortifications. Visitors come less for elaborate planting than for the setting: a calm, elevated spot that pairs well with a walk around Valletta’s historic walls, especially near sunset.
