Valletta, Malta
Valletta, Malta
The Church of Our Lady of Victory is Valletta’s oldest church and one of the city’s most symbolic landmarks. Built in the 16th century to commemorate the end of the Great Siege of Malta, it offers visitors a compact but richly historic stop near the city entrance. Inside, you’ll find elegant Baroque decoration and a sense of Valletta’s earliest days as the Knights of St John began building their new capital. It is especially worth visiting if you enjoy history, religious art, and quieter sites away from the busiest attractions.
