Kaan Luum Lagoon

Kaan Luum Lagoon, just south of Tulum, is a calm, shallow lake encircling a deep cenote at its center. Its clear, turquoise water, soft sandy bottom, and minimal waves make it ideal for relaxed swimming and paddleboarding. A simple pier, palapas, and limited facilities keep the atmosphere quiet and low-key. The central cenote is roped off for safety, but its darker blue hue is striking from the shore. Expect a small entrance fee, basic amenities, and cash-only vendors. Visit for a peaceful half-day escape if you prefer nature and calm water over crowds and beach clubs.
