Prestvannet Lake

Prestvannet Lake is a tranquil, shallow lake atop Tromsøya, encircled by a 2-km gravel path popular with walkers and joggers year-round. Protected as a nature reserve, it offers accessible birdwatching in summer and aurora reflections on clear winter nights. The flat loop suits families, and benches provide easy pauses with city-and-mountain views. In winter, the surroundings are often snowy, though the ice is not always safe for walking.
