Milad Tower is Tehran’s landmark communications and observation tower, rising 435 meters above the city. Opened in 2008, it offers panoramic views of the Alborz Mountains and the capital’s vast sprawl from indoor and open-air decks. Visitors find a small museum, temporary exhibitions, a revolving restaurant, and cafés, plus a sky dome with intricate tilework. The complex also hosts cultural events and a convention center. It’s most appealing at sunset or on clear days, when visibility is best. Go for city orientation and skyline photography rather than historic insight; lines can be long on weekends and holidays.
Opening Hours
Sat–Wed: 10:00–21:30, Thu–Fri: 10:00–22:00
