Seaplane Harbour (Lennusadam) is Tallinn’s standout maritime museum, set in a striking 1916 seaplane hangar—one of the world’s earliest reinforced concrete domes. Inside, the restored 1930s submarine Lembit anchors exhibits on Estonian naval history, Arctic exploration, and seaplane aviation. Interactive displays, simulators, and a harbor-side setting make it engaging for families and history buffs alike. Temporary exhibitions and seasonal harbor activities add variety. It’s an easy tram or bus ride from the Old Town, typically taking 1.5–2 hours to visit, and appeals if you enjoy well-presented technology, architecture, and maritime heritage.
