Eisenbahnmuseum Strasshof

Eisenbahnmuseum Strasshof, just outside Vienna in Strasshof an der Nordbahn, is one of Austria’s largest railway museums. Housed in a former depot, it presents an extensive collection of steam, diesel, and electric locomotives, carriages, and railway equipment. Highlights include well-preserved Austrian Federal Railways stock, themed displays on operations and signaling, and occasional heritage train rides. The open-air layout lets visitors get close to historic rolling stock, appealing to families, rail enthusiasts, and industrial heritage fans.
