Four Wells

The Four Wells in Šibenik are a small but distinctive historic site beside the old city walls, in the area once used to secure water during Ottoman sieges in the 15th century. Built above a large underground cistern, the four stone wellheads reflect the city’s practical medieval defenses and daily life. While not a major standalone attraction, they are worth a short stop for visitors interested in Šibenik’s history, fortifications, and quieter corners of the old town.
