Soldier Pass Trail in Sedona offers a compact showcase of red-rock scenery and geology. The 4.3-mile out-and-back route passes the Devil’s Kitchen sinkhole, the Seven Sacred Pools, and views of Coffee Pot Rock, with modest elevation gain and some rocky sections. It’s popular for sunrise and shoulder-season hikes; parking is limited at the trailhead, so arrive early or use a shuttle. Seasonal water may flow through the pools after rain. Suitable for fit beginners to intermediates, it’s a good choice if you want classic Sedona vistas without a full-day commitment. Mountain bikes share portions of the trail.
