St Peter’s Church is one of Riga’s best-known landmarks, admired for its Gothic origins, later Baroque tower, and long role in the city’s history. Located in the heart of the Old Town, it is especially worth visiting for its tower viewing platform, which offers wide panoramas over Riga’s rooftops, the Daugava River, and nearby spires. Inside, the church is relatively simple, making it more appealing for its architecture, historical significance, and views than for ornate decoration alone.
