Petřín Lookout Tower is a 63.5-meter iron structure on Petřín Hill, inspired by the Eiffel Tower and built for the 1891 Jubilee Exhibition. A short funicular ride or hillside walk brings you to panoramic views over Prague’s Old Town, Castle, and Vltava River. Visitors can climb 299 steps or take an elevator to the observation decks. The surrounding park offers gardens, paths, and seasonal blossoms, making it a pleasant half-day outing. Go for clear-day vistas and photography; skip if you dislike heights, stairs, or crowds in peak season. Admission applies; combined funicular and tower tickets are available.
