About Dancing House

Dancing House (Tančící dům) is a standout modern landmark on Prague’s riverfront, designed by Vlado Milunić and Frank Gehry and completed in 1996. Its curving glass-and-stone “dancers” contrast strikingly with surrounding historic architecture. Visitors come for the photogenic exterior, a small gallery space, and a top-floor restaurant and terrace offering panoramic views of the Vltava and Prague Castle. It’s quick to appreciate from the street and suits travelers interested in contemporary architecture or scenic viewpoints. Located near Národní třída, it’s easy to combine with a riverside walk or nearby neighborhoods like New Town and Lesser Town.
