Piazza dei Cavalieri

Piazza dei Cavalieri is Pisa’s second most important square after Piazza dei Miracoli, known for elegant Renaissance architecture and layered history. Redesigned by Giorgio Vasari in the 16th century, it features the striking Palazzo della Carovana with sgraffito façades and the Church of Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri.
