Ōsaka, Japan
Abeno Harukas is Ōsaka’s tallest skyscraper, a mixed-use landmark above Tennoji Station. Its main draw is Harukas 300, a three-level observation deck (floors 58–60) with sweeping views of Ōsaka, Nara, and Kobe on clear days. Visitors also find the Kintetsu Department Store—one of Japan’s largest—an art museum, restaurants, and a rooftop garden. It’s convenient for pairing with nearby Shitennō-ji and Tennōji Park. Go if you enjoy skyline views, architecture, and easy one-stop shopping and dining; skip if observation decks don’t appeal or if you prefer historic neighborhoods over modern complexes.
