Larvotto Beach is Monaco’s main public shoreline, a sheltered crescent of imported sand along Avenue Princesse Grace. Backed by a pedestrian promenade, cafés, and playgrounds, it’s well set up for families and casual swimmers. Calm waters (protected by offshore barriers) make it suitable for paddleboarding and snorkeling, while lifeguards patrol in season. The beach can be busy in summer and sunbeds are pricy, but access is free and the urban-sea scenery is memorable. Nearby bus stops and parking simplify logistics, and evening strolls along the lit waterfront offer a pleasant, low-key Monaco experience.
