Opéra-Théâtre de Metz Métropole is one of France’s oldest working opera houses and a landmark on Metz’s Place de la Comédie. Built in the 18th century, it is admired for its elegant classical façade and its role in the city’s cultural life. Visitors come both for performances and for the atmosphere of the surrounding square and river setting.
