Parque Urbano Central

Parque Urbano Central is La Paz’s largest green corridor, stretching through the city center with gardens, walking and cycling paths, sports courts, and public art. Locals use it for daily exercise and weekend picnics, making it a good window into urban life at high altitude. The park links neighborhoods and sits near the teleférico lines, so it’s easy to combine with city sightseeing. Come for a relaxed break from traffic and thin-air climbs, or to join community events and markets that appear on weekends. It’s more functional and local than scenic, but very convenient and safe by day.
