Krabi, Thailand
Krabi, Thailand
Koh Gai (Chicken Island) is a small limestone islet off Ao Nang, named for its chicken-shaped rock formation. It’s known for clear, shallow waters ideal for snorkeling, abundant reef fish, and calm beach corners. At low tide, a sandbar links it to Koh Tup and Koh Mor, allowing easy island-hopping on foot. Most visitors arrive on half-day longtail or speedboat tours from Krabi. Facilities are minimal, so bring essentials. Go if you value simple snorkeling, scenic rock formations, and a quick nature escape; skip if you prefer extensive beaches, solitude in peak season, or advanced dive sites.
