Badouzi Coastal Park

Badouzi Coastal Park, on Keelung’s northeastern edge, blends rugged geology with sea views along accessible boardwalks. The park’s star is the Wangyou Valley trail, a short ridge walk overlooking wave-cut terraces, fishing boats, and distant islets. Tide pools and layered sandstone formations reveal the coast’s erosion history up close. It’s a good choice for easy coastal hiking, photography, and sunset panoramas without leaving the city. Facilities are basic, and shade is limited—go early or late, and check tides for shoreline exploration. Reachable by bus from central Keelung; combine with nearby National Museum of Marine Science and Technology.
