Star Ferry

The Star Ferry is a classic, low-cost way to cross Victoria Harbour between Central and Tsim Sha Tsui. Operating since 1888, its green-and-white boats offer unobstructed skyline views, especially striking at sunset or during the Symphony of Lights. The quick ride (about 8–10 minutes) doubles as transport and sightseeing, making it ideal for first-time visitors and photographers. Queues can form at peak hours, but departures are frequent.
