SEC Armadillo

The SEC Armadillo is one of Glasgow’s most recognisable modern landmarks, set on the River Clyde beside the Scottish Event Campus. Designed by architect Norman Foster, its distinctive curved roof has made it a symbol of the city’s waterfront regeneration. Primarily a concert, comedy and conference venue, it attracts visitors for both its architecture and varied programme of events. Even if you are not attending a performance, it is worth seeing as part of a walk around the Clyde, especially for those interested in contemporary design and Glasgow’s cultural scene.
