Shimizu Island

Shimizu Island is a compact limestone islet on El Nido’s popular Tour A, known for clear, shallow waters ideal for snorkeling. Coral gardens host reef fish, with occasional sea turtle sightings. Sheer cliffs frame small white-sand pockets used for brief beach stops and picnic lunches. Conditions are generally calm, making it suitable for beginners and families, though it can be busy at midday. There are no facilities beyond basic picnic setups, and access is by outrigger boat only. Visit for accessible marine life and classic karst scenery rather than solitude or advanced snorkeling.
