Phoenix Park

Phoenix Park is one of Europe’s largest enclosed urban parks, a short hop from Dublin’s city center. Established in the 17th century, it blends expansive lawns, woodlands, and historic landmarks, including Áras an Uachtaráin (the Irish President’s residence) and the Victorian People’s Flower Gardens. A resident herd of wild fallow deer roams freely, and Dublin Zoo sits within the grounds. Miles of paths suit walking, running, and cycling, with plenty of picnic space and seasonal events.
