Tailors’ Bastion is one of the best-preserved sections of Cluj-Napoca’s medieval fortifications, originally built and maintained by the city’s tailors’ guild. Dating mainly from the 15th and 16th centuries, it offers a glimpse into the town’s defensive past in a central, easy-to-reach location. Today, visitors come for its historical atmosphere, distinctive stone architecture, and small cultural exhibitions often hosted inside. It is a worthwhile stop for travelers interested in local history, medieval urban heritage, or a short visit beyond Cluj’s main squares and churches.
