Mir-i-Arab Madrasah is one of Bukhara’s most important Islamic landmarks, facing the Kalon Minaret in the city’s historic center. Built in the 16th century, it remains an active religious school, which gives it special cultural significance. Visitors come mainly for its elegant blue-domed architecture, refined tilework, and its role in the famous Po-i-Kalyan ensemble. While entry may be limited because it is still in use, its exterior alone makes it a worthwhile stop for anyone interested in Central Asian history, architecture, and living religious traditions.
