Wizard Beach

Wizard Beach (Playa Wizard), on Isla Bastimentos in Bocas del Toro, is a broad, golden-sand surf beach backed by jungle and usually light on crowds. Reached by a 30–45 minute muddy trail from Old Bank (or by boat in calm seas), it offers consistent waves for experienced surfers and a wild, undeveloped feel. There are no services on the beach—bring water, snacks, and sun protection. Swimming can be rough due to currents.
