The Palau de la Música Catalana is a Modernisme jewel and premier concert hall in Barcelona’s El Born. Designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner (1905–08), it blends ornate mosaics, stained glass, and sculptural detail around a luminous central skylight. UNESCO-listed, it hosts classical, choral, and contemporary performances with excellent acoustics. Guided tours reveal the lavish foyer, grand staircase, and the celebrated stained-glass “sun.” Visit if you appreciate Catalan modernist architecture, live music in an intimate setting, or design-rich interiors. Advance booking is recommended for both concerts and tours.
