Vihren Chalet

Vihren Chalet is a popular mountain hut in Bulgaria’s Pirin National Park, above Bansko, and a common starting point for hikes to Vihren Peak and nearby glacial lakes. Set at about 1,950 metres, it offers easy access to some of the region’s best-known alpine scenery, including the Banderitsa Valley. Visitors come for marked trails, dramatic views, and a convenient base for day walks or more demanding climbs.
