Son Tra Peninsula, a forested headland just northeast of central Đà Nẵng, blends beaches, viewpoints, and biodiversity. A winding coastal road leads to Bai But and Bai Rang beaches, the 67-meter Linh Ung Pagoda with its Lady Buddha statue, and summit lookouts over the city and Hai Van Pass. The peninsula shelters rare red-shanked douc langurs, making sunrise wildlife watching a draw. Conditions vary with weather; roads are steep and best tackled by experienced riders or guided tours. Visit for half a day to enjoy coastal scenery, quiet coves, and a cooler, greener contrast to the city’s urban waterfront.
